  • The Genesis of Geo

    Geo is founded in 2009 with the aim of integrating cloud-based technology. 2009 was also the year Apple’s iPhone 3G began taking over the world.

  • Integration with Xero

    Geo integrates with Xero, a cloud-based accounting package

  • Building up the App

    iPhone and Android applications for businesses are developed.

  • Building up the App

    An integration is built with other complementary business software products like FreshBooks.

  • International growth

    Geo opens an office in Melbourne. In the wake of the 2010 Christchurch earthquakes, Geo is deployed by the Student Volunteer Army to coordinate its relief activities.

  • International awards

    is awarded the 2011 Consensus Software Award for being the most innovative software product in Australia and New Zealand.

  • Expanding the vision

    Geo adds new customer support services and launches its partner program. Geo integrates with inventory software company Unleashed.

  • Growth

    Geo raises a significant amount of capital to fuel its plans for global expansion. Geo signs a major partnership deal with Telstra Australia to distribute Geo via Telstra's digital market place.

  • Growth

    Geo is recognised for its commitment to R&D by receiving a Growth Grant from Callaghan Innovation.

  • Geo partners with Appdirect

    Geo announces a global channel partnership with US-based AppDirect to access partners such as Telstra, Deutsche Telekom, Swisscom and Samsung. There are also integrations with MYOB (Australasia) and Intuit Quickbooks (US).

  • AUT Excellence Awards

    At the 2015 AUT Awards, Geo wins top prize for support businesses using cloud-based technology with less than $5 million turnover.

  • Finalist in New Zealand Hi-Tech Awards

    It gains No.1 ranking in the field service management category in GetApp’s Q3 GetRank and is nominated as a finalist in the Innovative Hi-Tech Software Product category of the 2015 New Zealand Hi-Tech Awards.

  • Continued growth and reward for excellence

    Geo starts the year acknowledged as one of the fastest growing businesses in the Asia-Pacific region. It places 41st in the prestigious Technology Fast 500 Asia Pacific list with revenue growth of 935 per cent for the three years to June 2015.

  • Interface IT

    In June Geo acquired Australian software development business InterfaceIT, a sales force productivity tool to manage in-field sales teams.

  • MYOB

    Geo joins the list of add-ons supporting MYOB and announces a full accounts integration with the leading accountancy software firm.

  • ASX listing

    Geo submits its Prospectus in August in preparation for an ASX listing

MEET THE LEADERSHIP TEAM

Anna Cicognani

Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director

Anna has served as CEO and in other C-level roles in public and private companies such as APN, PMP, Telstra and Fairfax. She has been involved in digital media and technology projects of all sizes, as an operator and investor, for over 20 years. She has experience in using technology to operate efficiently and grow sales and customer engagement.

Matthew Johnson

Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary

Matt is a chartered accountant with more than 20 years’ senior financial experience in subscription and SaaS-based businesses. He has held senior roles in British Telecom, George Patts and Fairfax. More recently, he was CFO at SaaS start-up Maestrano.

Jason Faulkner

Chief Technology Officer

Jason has over 20 years’ experience designing and delivering complex cloud and mobile solutions at scale. These have supported millions of monthly active users in both enterprise and international venture funded start-ups across energy, logistics, entertainment and social industries.

Cory Cleveland

VP - Business Development, North America

Cory has spent the last ten years financing and building early stage private and public technology ventures. He played a pivotal role in developing a merchant banking firm which went on to co-found, build and list a handful of companies.

Julian Austin

Head of Sales ANZ and UK

Julian has worked as a sales lead in a number of technology Companies such as NCS Singtel, Pythian, and Simbient. His passion for technology and building high-performance teams is paired with his energy and commitment to customer success. He holds a Bachelor of Law from UTS and an MBA from RMIT.

Brad Dunn

Head of Product and Customer Experience

Brad was the former CEO of the Nazori business in Melbourne, a founding B Corp in Australia, where they worked on startups in 12 countries around the world. Brad has taught Product Management at General Assembly and been a startup mentor for countless associations and government programs.
